univac and Austin are stuck in the doldrums of the tour. Drifting. So beyond boredom they are forced to actually rehearse. As if there were a point.

Like when your next gig is in Philadelphia and you just packed up the show in Denver. Get in the van and drive drive drive drive…

Between shows, hurtling through deep space, the deadtime of the tour, with many, many, MANY hours left until they get to their next destination. They largely improvise, rehearse, and begrudgingly behave like a band that is trying to practice before a big show… but the big show is light years away!
