One of the planetoids Austin and univac have been invited to play on their Galactic Tour, Dendrolic, a misshapen planetoid of wood and paper, will only allow things of wood, paper and/or plant materials on their planet. All clothing, instruments, food containers, accessories, etc must be made entirely of wood, paper or plant material. Anything made of any other material is not only socially frowned upon, but will deteriorate at a rapid rate, most materials dissolving in as little as two hours into an incendiary goo, a bad idea on wooden planetoid.
univac disguises his gear with wooden vinyl covering and Austin does similar, hoping that the threat is overblown, exaggerated, a farce to keep artists unnecessarily in line.
Turns out it was the truth: their gear bursts into a gigantic conflagration, burning down the planetoid, destroying their gear (again) and they barely escape to the SquircUbe Pod with their smoking skin and cellulose leisure suits mostly intact.
This is the only recoverable audio the recordios were able to capture.
The band “Some New Sounds”, the “Chitinous Children of Ch’tachi Central,” were the openers for Zer0-G Mice at this gig. Some of them were “accidentally” stepped on prior to burning to ash.

univac: oscillating heater motor with ossified seaweed branch, CV controlled printer motor spinning a spiky desert plant branch against a chunk of fibrous palm wood, kiddie swing motor swooshing (and battling the seaweed) a bunch of seed pods from some tree apparently called “Brachychiton populneus nhimin (Gaamilaraay) Kurrajong," old plant box with a CV controlled motor spinning another set of seed pods, CV controlled printer motor spinning cocktail umbrellas against some beautiful packing material, a shaker I made of seed pods, bit of old curved wood liberated from a mine in Montana, and an iMac shipping box used as a resonator.
Austin: tapes, recordings, machines.
Cantankerous Ground Crew: whatever they do.
